Hello, Yes, it was from the Aragon Ballroom at the POP property. The first public showing for the Beach Boys, being from just up/down the street in a local beach community. But, it did not last long. Bob Eubanks was better known for the Newlywed Game on TV that ran from 1966 to 1974. It was recorded live in the Los Angeles Theater Studios (sound stage) and the audience was prompted by the floor manager to clap or laugh with dumb audience signs. If anyone did not normally laugh at what was being said on the stage. No one saw the audience unless the camera panned into the usually packed studio seating. Somehow, my wife's sister just got married and was a contestant with her new husband. He turned out to be a not so nice guy over the years and is now gone. But, in 1967, being a newlywed was a big thing for the sister. My wife and I were invited to the studio show and got great seats. The newlyweds were in their seats on the stage and could not see us very well, with the bright studio lights glaring on the stage. (ever notice no shadows show up on the stage activities? ) Jnaki As hokey as the TV show was and the implication of the questions was a tell all about the newlywed person sitting next to each other. The game show was, for us, a dud. No one acted like that in our own relationship or local friends that were a part of our coastal community. It was all for the TV show and the show lasted until 1974, when more important laugh style shows came on the scene. YRMV More important? On TV, what am I saying? Ha! It was a portion of our society that had to distract us from the goings on across the USA.
