    Not much since the last update. I have not been pushing as I'm being drained by something else. When that is finished then I'll focus on this car. Project is going on 20 years. Good thing I was young when I started.

    I don’t wanna be that guy, buuuut… gotta share my experience with mounting Winfields sideways. There are tons of original pics of racers and speedsters with carbs mounted sideways, and even triple setups with outer carbs inline and center sideways. I stacked a pair of S-B’s sideways on my T in order to allow a plenum style intake. Worked great on the dyno. Worked great on straight roads. Problems started when I wanted to turn… fuel would slosh when turning and cause an extreme lean or extreme rich condition depending upon direction of turn. When the carbs are mounted with bowl to front this dynamic is still present, except that you want the extra fuel when accelerating, and lean when braking. If it’s still early enough, I highly recommend straightening out them beautiful carbs.
