I have always wondered how much weight savings there is between these two cl***ic hot rod roadsters. Racers sure used the 28-29' body on 32' frame combination over and over again. I have a steel body 29' in street trim and it weights 2,280 lbs. Anyone with a similar 32' know the weight of their rod? DSCN0943.jpeg

Having seen 28 and 32 bodies naked, but never on a scale, I’d guess the 32 is less than 100 pounds heavier. All other components would be the same, basically.

That is one nice 29 there! Brookeville roadster would know the weight difference.

    Model A's are prettier. I don't understand why someone hasn't put a '28-'29 shell on a fat, ugly '32.

Seems like most all the efforts using a '32 shell gets a car that the hood runs upward towards the front. One could distract that image by using one of those aluminum knobby bumpers that are out-of-place with any polished or chrome metal.

That may ( in my eyes ) be a valid question. However you probably won't win the argument
with that presentation. Or like like the guy used to say...
