Gearing up to start wrenching on my 1964 Rambler Classic, have a 5.7L throttle body and trans out of a 91 Caprice, a Hotrodsfromhell truck arm rear suspension and going to graft the front frame stub of a 90 S10 two wheel drive for the front suspension, 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 square tubing to make the subframe connectors and lots of rust repair............................... It will be a long haul but it will be worth it in the end.

Lots of rust repair................. looks like a previous owner tried to adapt a set of Rambler American floor pans.

Front suspension out, dash and old wiring harness out, lots of rust repair needed. Slid the S10 front frame stub under and got alot of measurements......it will work, Yay!!! Sectioned out the passenger side front frame rail on the Rambler and will probably do the drivers side in the next couple of days. Resized_20240623_143014.jpeg

I might have to cut a bit more out to clearance the upper A-arms, but we will see once I have the drivers side done and I can roll the frame stub back under the car.

The front frame stub sits down inside almost perfect, little bit more trimming and cut channels in the front radiator cross member so I can tip the frame back at the right angle and I can start spot welding it in.

Get it spot welded in where it needs to be, then I can start working on the subframe connectors and then the rear suspension/differential install.
