    Hoping you guys can help identify this car. I THINK it is a 1946 Ford, but hoping someone with more knowledge can help. Sorry this is the best picture I have.

    I think you have the year about right, but I don't think that is a Ford of any kind.

    Thanks! I'll have to try and find it! Any guess of roughly when it was?

    @53olds

    The stance is much better!!! Looking good!!!!
    Tell us more about the car. How did you lower the rear? What motor? Future plans?
    I’m digging the reversed rear wheels

  17. I'll have to find out more info, but it belongs to my old boss and he's having another friend do all this work. He installed a dropped axle and did some work to the front spring and removed some. The rear he removed leafs. It has a stockish flathead with 4spd. It's going to be up on the market real soon!

    I bet he used some really long shackles if it's a buggy spring in the rear. Or maybe he flattened the rear crossmember. Certainly more than just leaf removal

  20. I looked threw the Rodders Journal instagram last night and didn't see it. I could be mistaken about it being Rodders Journal, but I'm pretty sure it was. Street Rodder, or Rod & custom is the only other magazine it could have been.

    @Fat ASS Whitewalls I appreciate your taking the time to look! I dug around a little myself.

    Maybe the power of the H.A.M.B. will find help me find out more about it!

  26. Helped my buddy deliver the 48 tonight. So suspension specs are: 4" dropped axle, 2 leafs removed, front and rear springs have eyes reversed, rear spring 6 leafs removed. Stock shackles front and rear.
