Here is a update on my car. I put a 3 point rear end in it. It's a Dutchman 35 spline, with a aluminum Quick Performance 3rd member.

I got it certified for 8.5 et's.

 

There was always rumors that there was a jack under the car, the shot was taken in Motions parking lot and if you notice the p***enger tire is on the sidewalk. The road is Sunrise highway and those are the LIRR tracks behind that.

Yeah, it looks bogus. He doesn't appear to be accelerating and the slick is wrinkled fore and aft.

 

That's an east coast car but I don't recognize it. I'm thinking around 68 they discontinued M/SP and moved them to Altered. Track looks like it could be Englishtown. I knew both of those sponsors.

Can anyone direct me to a more 'technical' info/thread about how-to do a "V8 in a sports car"? I'm may be doing a 289 in a big Healy and don't want to try to reinvent the wheel if I don't need to. Thanks
