I bought an old Cal Custom yoyo shift knob from Nick and he was a class act all the way. Thanks Nick! Ron

 

And let’s be blunt here, other than his positive activity/responses here on the HAMB, Nicks roadster just looks tops.

 

As an old Montana cowboy we have a saying.
" Your a gentleman, a scholar,a good judge of women,whiskey and fast horses"
Son there's not many of us left.

 

I have known "Nick" a long time, one of the best memorable things I remember about him is the time my dad and I saw him at the Rhinebeck (NY) swap meet he asked what we were looking for.
We told him nothing really, he said “Just being out with your father is going to be a memory that you will always have.”

 

Nick was the caddy go to guy great help miss seeing him at Rumblers today in Terryville

Nick, you obviously know a nice, thoughtful, guy when you meet one, I received similar treatment from Kev. He noticed my meat cleaver collection, hanging in my shop from some photos. He sent me this plaque as a surprise, and now it's the centerpiece ! Thanks to the HAMB, for being a world wide meeting place, and thanks again Kevin. I would send you something, but what do you give the man, who has everything !

 

I remember when he and his partner had the FORD store in town, back then he was also known as "Meyer the Buyer" he was sorta aggressive purchaser. been my pleasure to have known him for over fifty years
