back home is under a LOT of water glad you got that hot rod out of there!

 

Thanks Tim. I remember when the Big Sioux River flooded in the early 60’s

 

It’s 4.5 feet over the record flood. Even the rail road bridge headed west has feet of water over the tracks. Houses in rock valley have water over the roofs it’s pretty wild.

 

Yikes!

 

Yeah it’s still going, the highway headed east out of town is flooded from the overflow creeks. The library even has water in it. Towns getting flooded from 70+ % of its sides

most of northwest Iowa but I was referring to Hawarden Iowa.

 

I was born there, Hudson didn’t have a hospital

 

A little pre fit on the firewall fittings. The lines are still in mockup, once the length is pretty, off to the hydraulic shop for the proper lines to be made up

 

Looks good. I dig the bulkheads and the shut off valve

 

That shut off serves the fuel pressure gauge. I’m not a huge fan of live gas in the cockpit

 

Cool, that’s one way to do it.
