In above picture that is the wrong end, the other end needs the radius because it ****s to the spindle and has to clear the spindle diameter/face radius.

I appreciate your help on this Seb. I had already posted a photo of the end which ****s against the spindle and it show that the bearings that I pulled from the hubs have chamfered edges. The photos of the opposite end were posted for a question that Rich had asked about the outer side of the bearings. With this all said... I took some measurements and dry fit the bearings that came out of the hubs. They seat into the race nicely but the hole (inner diameter) is so large that it doesn't actually contact the spindle. I don't know if this car was ever driven like this...I can't imagine what the ride would have been like due this situation. Personally, I had only driven the car about 100 feet from the car carrier to my garage before taking it apart. So I never really experienced what driving the car was like.

This is one for the history books. I've gone ahead and ordered new bearings and races. I'm genuinely thankful to you and Rich for sharing your time and knowledge to help me with this.

Not trying to be too corny but "You guys rock!"

Hopefully this thread is over..and I'll get this thing zipped up without a problem once the new bearings show up.

I am humbled by your generosity.
