Need help identifying old speed equipt decals

    Hi all, I’m restoring this old g***er and need help ID’ing the 3 old stickers on the front fender and 1 on the quarter panel. Any help would be appreciated.     I’m gonna guess far forward red one is cherry bomb muffler and the third one is sheifer flywheel

    I think the first one is a Cobra on wheels. I have a larger one somewhere in my piles of stuff. I will have to look for it.

    Thanks Texas********, I spoke with the original owner Frank Jones, after almost 60 years, he doesn’t remember what the stickers were unfortunately.

  9. Does he remember what tracks he ran, or where those trophies are from? There are tons of FB groups for old drag strips with old photographers and folks that ran at those tracks that might have better images for your reference. Such a rad car with a kick *** name and history. Good luck!

    Yes, the car was raced from late 1966 through the first half of 1971 at Englishtown raceway park in New Jersey and Island dragway, also in New Jersey.

    That front one reminds me of the Cheetah from Turbo action, but could not find a match or even close.
    Looks like a big cat's head.
