Wow! That bleaching of the white parts was cool!

Pretty cool! I actually have that same roadster purchased from Bob K’s auction.

Really enjoy watching these videos, I think @Ryan posted a time lapse one a few years ago that was really neat.

I keep buying more of them for “parts” and then decide that they are to cool to take apart . I’m gonna have to get into some home 3d printing I guess lol

Very cool. That bleaching/black light treatment for the white plastic parts was interesting. Did not know you could do that. Thanks for sharing.

I received a NYLINT #6801 "JALOPY" for my 4th birthday:

Never figured out what happened to it . . . so ~ 10 years ago, I bought a "restored" one off eBay:

I think the Patina is pretty cool!

I have a pretty cool collection of Woodie cars I collected over 50 years. Since we moved to South Florida, they remain in boxes instead of display as they we in my car barn for years. You always bring back good memories.

  11. U Tube has several posts showing some really great restorations on these and other similar toy cars. Lots of work and lots of very expensive equipment needed their way though. I just clean well, sand and repaint or replace with better parts.
The blue #58 looks great though.

  12. So today I bought this, does anyone have a clue where to get parts? I would love to find the engine. 0213250107.jpg
