Technical Baby hemi rod bolts

    Where are you guys finding new rod bolts for the 241 dodge hemi , are they available or what do I use ? Thanks

    Have you checked with Hot Heads or ARP?

    Comming along but slowly , block is getting an .030 overbore this or next week, then measure and order pistons when I get it back

    Hot heads had all the bolts fit my 330 desoto. Call them

    Another issue you’ll run into is finding main bearings. Even HHs was having a problem with that. There’s a vendor in Texas that had some.

    If you have them, the original rod bolts should be fine for normal street use if not boogered.

    Talked with my engine builder. He seemed to remember using 273/318 rod bolts. Just have to get one of those bolts and fit it to a 241 Rod to verify.

    I sent a PM to Gary (73RR) yesterday. Verified you can use the 273, 318, 340, 360 rod bolts. I would do the extra mile and run ARP.

    I bought the ARP’s to use in the build also getting new head and crank bolts from hotheads also

    Sounds like you are on the right track. What cam are you going to run? Solid or hydraulic?

    Had racer brown do a regrind of 420 lift on my original hydraulic cam
