Hot Rods T roadster survivor at good guys desmoines?

A really honest old survived hot rod. Glad it is out there for like minded people to see and enjoy. They do still exist!

 

It also appears the rear was widened as well. It's still a cool survivor!

 

a buddy of mine got a 37 Ford coupe and some other vintage car I can't remember AFTER they demolished the barn with a bulldozer. probably 25 years ago. pretty twisted as I recall.

my brother used to pass by a lot with a bunch of 20's era tin in it out near Columbia Ca.. one day he saw some heavy equipment and people in orange vests out there and asked them what they were going to do with the old tin, they were going to bull doze it, so they let him have it, he took it all to Turlock swap and sold it all in one day. he said people were going crazy buying. he's more of an antique guy than a car guy, I'm sure he sold it for pennies on the dollar.

 

Naw, I believe that's the only one I snapped of it.
It was so busy on Saturday I was just trying to take it all in!

 

My take : they kept the big radiator to cool the engine, I can see brackets from frame down to radiator mount. Pretty often done where I lived, thru the really good years, 1950--1962
