   Does the water flow from the thermostat housing to the pump or the other way, from pump to the thermostat

   Thermostat to pump
   
   Hot water flows from the thermostat housing, thru the heater, and returns to the pump. Water goes in the lower heater and out the upper.

   Thanks, doing a VA gen V in a 50 Chev 261 control valve has an arrow for flow wasn’t sure.
