It's a work in progress... Engine is currently pulled apart, I am doing some porting and fitting larger intake valves and a new Burtz cam to hopefully improve things a bit. Has a 6:1 head, custom header and intake with a Stromberg, electronic ignition etc.

I really like what happens to '30-'31 coupes when chopped, especially full fendered ones.

This car has been a part of my life since I was born. Last year my Mom passed it down to me so I can now begin to undo decades of my grandfathers work in a good way. My Grandfather and Dad worked hard to build a VERY fast Model T Speedster, one that would easily turn triple digits. Several years later my Dad passed away and the car became my Moms. Her dad now had the very fast T in the hands of his only daughter who had a "heavy foot" so the next decades were spent slowing the car down. She will still turn 80+ without too much difficulty but I think it would be better to bring her back to the former glory. To do this step one is build up a '27 engine with the fronty I have and drop it in replacing the rajo. The rajo can then be worked over restoring the original mods which turned it into a crossflow head before going back into the car eventually to have the roof put back on.

Just spent quite some time staring at every photo in this thread. Some incredible stuff! Here’s the upholstery hauler I built last year. Still looking for a super Winfield head for it but it’s a blast anyway.

I have a set of those MILLIR air cleaners and that is as close as I will ever get to this kind of quality.

  24. Thanks Fella's,
Taking the exhaust out the short side should help dissipate some of the heat.
Adding another version of overhead to the list.

Here's my '27 T Roadster (fiberglass body) getting her ready to go to Bonneville in 3 weeks. 34 B with Thomas intake, dual 97's, racing head, etc. Will run V4F/GMR class. Current record of 123.534 mph. We'll see.
We currently hold the D/BGRMR record, 198.503 in our other steel bodied '27 roadster, a little different animal. Not running her this year due to engine issue.

Just finished my RPU. Shipped from the US to the UK in 2019 as an unrestored but rot free car, the rolling restoration took 18 months. Stock drive line and braking system. Some upgrades in the pipeline but it will always be a banger. Loving the life at 50 MPH! 20240703_075503.jpg 20240630_105648.jpg 20240630_105540.jpg
