Nomad style 1958 Impala Station Wagon

    Hello,

We took my brother’s 58 Impala to the beach a couple of times after his recovery of his burns. He was leery of the recovery and we stayed in out of the way surf spots. Two brothers in a black Impala with surfboard sticking out of the rear was something, even with the back seat taken out.

We could not help it, but we wanted to get to the beach and had no time to get a custom station wagon or…

So, we planned on just getting to the local surf spots in any vehicle, including a 1949 sunroof VW, a 55 VW van, the 58 Impala or when it arrived the 1940 Flathead Ford Sedan Delivery. But, if we had time, a custom Nomad would have been the perfect surfing transportation wagon/delivery.

Okay, lets try this again, I failed to see that the wheel covers, potentially, were misdiagnosed, as the dreaded "B" word, so the pictures of the wheels will not be included here!
    Thanks from Dennis.

I was commissioned to paint this old Samsonite suite case for a friend, the shop is in Unionville PA, the shop has been there for years and is right next to a Cemetary. The barn is an old livery stable and his actual shop! Fun Stuff!

This cool Colony Park wagon that belongs to @Kiwi Kev was photographed at the CHRR at FAMOSO, the same year of the 58 Nomad wagon, that I posted.
So in regards to @jnaki and the cool surf wagon he posted, this will have to do for now,
    Thanks from Dennis.

These are part of the build I have going on, over on the antiquated forum, the thread,
    "FORD COE HEADLIGHT UPDATE"
These are interchangeable mascots for the back side of the "BABY DIETZ" red lens auxiliary light.
To me its another form of "Automotive related art work"

    Enjoy from Dennis.

this is my good buddy Jim's drawing of his 56 Chevy and another friends 56 F-100 Jim drew in High School. I just came across an envelope with drawings of our cars he drew that his Mom gave me. the others are OT.

we were best friends since 8th grade, he passed in 1993. I was always amazed how he could draw like the F-100 with no sketch to start, that was done using drafting templates.

Hello fellow Hambers...I shared this image a while back. It was a tribute to the Solar Eclipse back in April...

The car group I'm involved with is having a show August 4th, rain date August 5th in Toledo, Ontario at the Legion. Huge property for the event...

I took the original I did, added some text, printed it out at 11"x17", framed it and donated it to be a prize in the show...Me driving the Custom in the image is a bit of a twist on self portraiture.

    rs=w_806,h_1044.jpeg

This is a poster for the Show...I didn't do this layout but the logo I did for the group resides in the bottom right corner...maybe I might see some of you there...not to far from the USA Bridge south of Ottawa and of course some of my local Hamb Friends...

Sorry, long winded but that's the story. I've again been absent but have been busy. I've been out in the Hotrod a fair bit chilling and forgetting about the wacky world we live in hitting some shows and cruise nights...

Always good to be on and I think about y'all often...
