I've been out in the garage sniffing fumes for the last couple days and nights.
The wagon has color now! Jamaican yellow, it's a 60's Ford color. I used Deltron base and concept clear. It went on good ,but the shop temp was a bit on the cold side so I got some runs in the clear. No biggie though as I am going to color sand and buff anyway.
    Wadder ya tink?

Chopstix on the HAMB here has a '60 Elco that has that similiar color combo too. That yellow bottom and white top. The wagon looks great. Can't wait till it gets back together to see pics of it. KNUX!

i love two tones. watch those runs and not to get them when they're still a little fresh. let them get nice and hard first, then cut hem out. looks real good from here. like that color combo too. best of luck with that.

Nice color. If you painted it in the garage in the pics, how did you contain the fumes and not gas everyone in the house?

    Thanks guys!
It has been a long time coming but I tried not rushing it and spent the extra time blocking and filling. The wife actually picked the color combo, it's her car.

Benzine440... Coker American Classic 205/70r15 on stock steel 15 inch wheels.

Johnny G...Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna wait a few days to start wet sanding.

36couper...the garage is attached to the house but there is no entrance from the garage, plus I had a big ass fan going all the time.

    Arkiehotrods...Thanks for the compliments

40 standard...Yeah the 39 standard sedan in the background is mine too. I'm itching to get started on it.

Hey Jethro I like it a lot, way better color than driving down the road in a 50's diner booth (turquoise & white w/ pearl). I'm setting it up for towing so it's going to stay a touch up in the back. Your wagon is lookin real good. keep us posted. Do you have any close ups of the roof?
