My daily shop truck, that I actually use to haul stuff...Not just a hot rod with a shop name on the side.

  2. Yeah the truck and I was in Rodders Digest but I was only showing the magazine bloke around.
The home of the $15,000 roadster belongs to a mate of mine and its called Old Tin, I think the price has gone up a bit since then.

Retrorod saw it 1st but yeah. Short for Cornbinder. As in what International Harvestor is and was an Implement Company.
Maybe not a word you'd hear down here on the gulf coast but anywhere north of here.....

I'm workin on it. 1953 F-100. I put an Industrial Chassis crossmember in and the guy before me put in a Chevy 10 bolt and restored the original springs and painted the back half of the frame. I've got a lot to do. I have a new motor and trans for it, but I have to run fuel and brake lines and wiring. I have to build an exhaust system and get a drive shaft made up. Plus a thousand little things I'm forgetting now. I plan on driving it on the 07 Power Tour.

Here's mine. It's both my daily driver and my work truck as I use it in my semi-retired carpentry business.

As you can see the box is a little wider than stock.
The truck has an 81 Chevy 1 ton rear end and the fenders on the back are 2" wider than stock.
The box 3/16 plate for the floor and 18 guage on the sides, then box was built 8" wider than a stock box to fit the rear end.

Not traditional but I love this truck! The pic is a few years old, currently has a '70 Lincoln 460 and C-6 and all the go fast goodies... After driving it daily for a few years its getting disc brakes and power steering... The best part is that is looks and sounds stock but can eat Hemi Rams for lunch >:)

Ben, Thanks man! Nothing like rolling down the highway w/ the bumper 3" off the ground! Most people are in disbelief thats its not on bags. Wheels are vintage ETs w/ the centers painted semi gloss black.
