Technical Help ID This Roof Section, Please

Picked up this roof section today, and could use some help identifying which car it originally came with/on. Seller thought Plymouth, so before I go down the rabbit hole, I thought I would try tapping into the collective knowledge here first.

 

NICE! That door hinge will help ID it, something unusual I'm sure. Bob

 

35-36 ford 4dr ?

 

My first guess is HUDSON around 1936.

I was thinking Plymouth until the hinge picture.

 

Why would you buy something without knowing what it was off of?

It looks like a 1936 Plymouth 4-door Touring Sedan is a close match. The curve around the quarter window which ends as it touched the beltline, the warp of the beltline curve, the trunklid hinge position, where the back edge of the top insert ends, the rear door's upper hinge position, the grab handles, the shape of the rear quarter window lock levers, the position of the screw holes for the interior quarter window trim...:

 

I believe you nailed it.

It looks like a good piece to use to convert an early 1930's sedan into a coupe.
