Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

I am pretty sure those are pictures of Rod Powells first Merc, probably the trip home when he bought it as a rough under construction project. I read an interview with him many years ago and he said they dam near died from carbon monoxide because of all the exhaust leaking inside the car. It later had quad headlights and one of his first try's at fade painting. I know there are pictures of it in this thread and the 49/51 Merc thread. Picture is probably 60 years old. Time flies.
