Old buffet dresser thingy I converted into a bathroom vanity. Soda blasted, repaired and refinished. Down to picking hardware for it. This bathroom was as bad a building car parts
Not at all valuable, but when my grandma p***ed, my uncle was going through her house and throwing piles of things in the garbage. You can’t save everything I guess. One of the things nobody wanted was my dads and uncle’s childhood chair. It was too cool to just toss. I also snagged their high chair. They were born in the 1920’s, so it at least that old. A few of the joints were coming a little loose, so I cleaned them up and am just trying glue for now. The chairs sit in our house, so they do get used by my wife’s babysitting kids, and my grandkids.
Beanscoot , there are 4 of the these round top barns on the farm . One has factory built rafters . The other 3 were built from a jig that my Grandfather built using one of the rafters for a pattern. He also built a jig to build a taller barn . It was barrowed by some neighbors to build a couple barns and never came back . I found it in a grown up weed patch and bought it back home . I thought about using it to build a barn but haven’t got around to it .
