Where you are at, your abilities, and what you want the finished ride to look like, and maybe more importantly, what you want the finished ride to be able to do, will make a difference. Are you looking for a nice cruiser, or something raical? Your oem front suspension should be very similar to what the front suspension under my 48 Plymouth coupe (the car in my avatar) was originally. That car has a Dodge Dakota frame under it, and has logged over 100,000 road miles on it since it was built in 2012. In that picture, its1300 miles from home.
