He had him by the balls and squeezed tightly. But stupid me would have just given him the truck back.
First and favorite was a 53 Chevy Bel Air hardtop in 62. Doubt very much if it's still around, Traded it for a 57 Chevrolet hardtop at the Chevy dealer in Milford NE.in late 63. 57 was a piece of shit so shortly in summer of 64 I again traded for a 58 Bel Air 2 dr hard top that I had until the summer of 66 when I traded it for new 66 Chevy Impala SS. The 58 got wrecked but I swear I see the 66 ever so often on the roads around Hebron NE. 66 was cool, 327/4 speed, Marina blue with a white bucket seat interior. I'd like either the 53 or 66 back but I'm doubting that'll ever happen?
Honestly if I would have been the guy that had it and had it "stored" like he did I would have too. At the most sell it back to him for $500.... average price for a field derelict in that state
I'm not sure what to think about the truck's owner wanting that '57 truck bad enough to offer $10k? But then trading his beautiful '57 Chevy is even more ridiculous, and insane. I get wanting the truck back, but I'd find another '57 Chev pickup and make it just like his old truck before I'd do a stupid trade.
Maybe he lost his virginity in it and has been practicing ceilacby ever since in hopes of finding that old popper
