Howdy all!! Looking for a wee bit of inspiration for my new ride...

I picked this car out of Charleston 2 month ago. Guy had it listed for $25K, thought that was kinda high. Then he dropped it to 19K. Okay, interested...So I call him, say what will it take to get this car off your trailer tomorrow? 10K the man says...I boogied up there and scored it. Needs some attention, but has great bones for being 83...

Not sure if I want to go the...

    1: traditional lowrider route

    2: Solid cruiser

    3: full kustom

The car is pretty original, so there is that. As I get older, I seem to appreciate the lines and styling more and more. Young me was chopping tops and even making converts (should not have been doing that, damn you Pabst)

Just wanted to see some of your rides to create a design thought process. Thanks all!!

Can’t show you the side…..Built by Blair’s Speed Shop in 1962 as a g***er with a 409 for power. . Converted to a Land Speed Vintage Coupe in 1975 using a 302 GMC 6. Set many records at Bonneville and El Mirage. Featured in Street Rodder in 1978; article by Pat Ganahl. Now back on the street owned by my son…. IMG_3958.jpeg

very cool car. Interested to know the internal of the 302, if you would share..I am running the stock 216, and as luck would have it, runs like a sewing machine. but I wanna go fast man. Well, as fast as this car will go...Like 67. That works for me.

I think the 41 coupe has such great lines, and looks best totally stock. No fog lights, spotlights, skirts, lowering, just nice and clean.
