One more thing, I like the colors that James D posted it’s closer to my original vision on the tones.

Does anyone want to put a 57 Plymouth front bumper on this Ford? The grill is undecided, but I think some bars similar to the Plymouth Grill might work horizontal or vertical. I don’t know. IMG_7419.jpeg IMG_7418.jpeg

That stock grill won’t be used, entire grill opening will be custom. The whole bumper may need to be narrowed. Don’t worry about the license plate for now. I don’t need to run a front plate in my state anyway.

  17. I'm not talking about the plate, but the up and over part of the bumper is going to really eat into the space.

As long as you don't use the silver section under the bumper from the Plymouth it looks like it should work, or section the the part around the plate so that the bottom of that section is at the same level as the bottom of the bumper.

No, I don’t need the metal under the bumper.

The upper bar of the Plymouth bumper serves as a grill bar. Maybe it won’t work, just curious.

I was just told about this photos idea, so here goes!
Since my Ute isn't selling, I decided to keep it and I am considering doing a hot rod makeover. 33 Willys artillery wheels and a 1940's-1950's original paint color with some lettering and pinstrip on the wheels. 50's hot rod look. I feel guilty messing with a completely original stock car so I’m on the fence on whether I should change its look. Maybe a magnesium quick change rear end?

Do you have a dead-on side shot of your Ute?
I have some ideas for you, but need a better photo to work with.

Your Willys has great art deco styling. Why not enhance the art deco design as a custom?
The changes are all simple and easy to reverse, since you wanted to keep the body mostly stock.

Do any of you photoshop guys work with slightly off topic cars (or trucks) on the OT sub heading?. Specifically square body Chevy pickup.
