Anyone have experience using one? I’m thinking about the 30-31 sedan delivery body.

They post some build videos on YouTube but for the price can't you find a steel car ?

Not that I have anything against fibergl***, I have a few pieces on my cars.

With steel tudor bodies being so cheap why wouldnt you go that way? If nothing else resale value will be much better.

The bodies in that video look like ****. Why waste your money? Fit and finish are horrible, and the internal bracing is minimal.

The skill , equipment , and hours required to repair most any steel body out there today makes the gl*** body very attractive , if you're concerned about resale value , your in the wrong hobby IMO

I have to question the quality/detail of these bodies because the guy narrating in the video is calling that body a 30/31 coupe, but it has a 28/29 style beltline, and the beads just fade away before they reach the firewall. There are better, more accurate bodies out there.

  11. TRC has been out of business for years. Has anybody got 1st hand ownership to answer his questions?

There are 2 addresses on their website one (newer?) is a new commercial center 5289 Mountain Center Plaza , Lula, GA, 30554. And another address a house with a big shop at 8471 Highway 59 Lavonia, Ga 30553.
I sent an email and it didn't bounce. Hopefully they've revived it. It seems to be part time since they don't want you to call until after 4pm est. There is also a FakeBook page but I don't have facebook

I agree 100% - every ad of theirs I've seen includes "Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan.". I've often wondered if their "client" is even aware of them trying to sell the car.

  14. I called TRC's number. We'll see if I get a call back. I researched them several years ago and found nothing. :)

I had looked at using a Spirit body on a model A frame. I asked them about the fit but was told the bodies were built to their frames. Not sure about dimensions of their frame, so hard to know what to expect how much my frame would have to be modified.

  16. I received a call from Chris at TRC. Bottom line: he owns the molds but isn't currently producing bodies.

That chopped 3 window body looks real nice for the price. It would cost that much to have the body work done on the last 5 window coupe body I looked at just to get it to the prep for paint stage plus the cost of the body.

Hopefully they are being cared for. All too often they get left outside and after a few years they are worthless.
