I'm trying to find out what trim the Barris' used on the Blue Danube '52 Buick. I know the curved trim is stock trim cut down but does anybody know what the straight piece is from? Every article I've found only mentions the cut down curved piece but doesn't give any from oh the straight piece. I'd appreciate any help
    Thanks fellas

Could it be a front fender molding from a Roadmaster? The quarter panel trim does seem awfully long to be a front fender molding turned around. Good question, now I kinda want to know, as well. Great car, too.

I believe it is '51 Buick trim with an extra piece added to the front to extend the spear. You can make out the break in this picture at the half way mark. Everything I have ever seen on the car says it is Buick trim so that seems to be the most likely.

Ok, so maybe fender trim added to the front side of it? I think that may be it.
