    Hi,

I am using a mid 50s fomoco master brake cylinder for a hydraulic clutch setup with a slave cylinder.

Do I have to make modifications, or does it work straight away.

someone told me I have to drill a small hole in the valve, and leave out the rubber ring on the end.

I think you can use a bent paper clip to fish out the rpv it should be seated in the flare, where the line screws in.
    op is op.

    don't have that...

  7. the slave cylinder has no spring and needs no spring . the clutch master cylinder needs a spring....but does not need ( and one SHOULDN'T in it ) a residual check valve

the residual check valve is on the end of the spring inside the master , right where the brake fluid exits the master cylinder

idrov e car once where the clutch master (`61 chevy pickup dual) had the residual in it...the clutch did not work right....took it out , worked fine
