    Hello,

We have owned and modified two versions of hot rod bodies. A 40 Ford Sedan Delivery and a 40 Willys Coupe. One for our continued surf adventures all over So Cal and Baja, Mexico, while the 40 Willys was a Lion’s Dragstrip regular.
    upload_2024-8-2_4-7-38.jpeg

They are both whispering memories from a long time ago. But, there were changes that could have happened if the time line alignment was in another track. Sci-fi at its best…
    upload_2024-8-2_4-14-34.png
With the 40 Willys Coupe, we knew we had to have a tow/push car for our future road trips to other local So Cal dragstrips and to the longest distance U.S. Nationals in another state. But, they were preceded by an all purpose 58 Impala selected as a parts chaser, stock class racer, cruiser, daily drive to school and last but not least, a tow car for the 40 Willys. It was handy, no cost and available at a moment’s notice. We knew we had to have something else to be the actual tow or push car for our Willys adventures.

At first it was a 55-56 Chevy two door wagon for our choice. Then it was a Cameo Carrier pick up truck. Then a Ford Econoline custom van for our fledgling speed shop business.

But, as all things have a way with its own future track, ideas can be utilized to fulfill the possible next step.

Been awhile since I've posted but just finished up my "Dolphin Racer". It's kind of hotroddy.

    Hey @G V Gordon
That is a magnificent piece of art, very clever, and very well fabricated.
Thanks from Dennis for sharing that very cool piece !

  19. Now, I realize that Mr. Norwell forgot to pull the pin on this thread so could one of the moderators handle this please.

Photography is a form of art...and the subject matter here being vintage cars are themselves a form of visual art.

@chryslerfan55 I believe since it is a long weekend...at least up in my yonder the Art Show is sorta extended...Personally I enjoy it being given any extension as its here for any to chime in and enjoy.

...these are a couple of Artsy pics I took at our local cruise...

I will likely make the top of the two a photorealistic offering as a Drag race as I think of it as I look at them. They are actually early 60s in period which is nice as well. I parked beside Terry's 41 knowing it was a period Hotrod/Custom...

The Falcon image is Ron's pride and joy which as an image stand on its own...its a clean well detailed and has a mid sixties drag and street brawler flair...I never tire of seeing them...

    Great Show Hambers...

I will have to agree with you a certain to an extent. To me the 41 Ford had art work with the flames. The other, not so much. You are an artist and I respect your choices. I certainly am not. I enjoy the Friday morning art posts as much as lots of the other topics, in fact I look forward to the Friday Art Show and will continue to do so. There is so much talent here it is amazing. Thanks for your reply.
