Yep, saw that. I was hoping to find a metal one (reasonable price) since all of the others are metal

Kinda been gone from the HAMB for a bit. Alot going on working on the 36 Ford Coupe (door popper issue) and work/life balance. During that time, I picked up a used Pete + Jake 32 ford front end, though it has 4 bar and I want the hairpin, so those will be up for sale (chrome). I got some metal to start boxing the frame as well. I started making my custom tail lights from a 50's Plymouth turn markers. I also picked up a different 331 Hemi complete motor. After talking with HotHeads, I now have the correct heads (57 NewYorker) and I have a custom cam and crankshaft. Of course it needs a rebuild.

But more importantly for me, drove the body to Chicago (Voodoo Larry's). I wanted it chopped Bonneville style. Yes there will be those of you out there that dislike it and those that like it..its a hotrod, not a restoration. It's coming out the way I wanted it! I'm not tall so the roof line should be ok. So much rust though!!!!....dang 90yr old cars left outside

Here's a before and after of the roofline. VL did a live FB video of the chop for those interested, check out his page. prechop 34.JPG Passenger door.JPG

Back in the late 70’s or 80’s there were several 1930’s Mopar highboys, that used 32 Ford frame rails (lined up with the sides of the body) and old Ford suspension pieces (easily obtained) to build the chassis. They were really slick.
Hopefully someone will have some pics!
