Lloyd, you know I don't expect a T shirt for my piddly ass little donation to the fest but you still sent one last year anyway. So if you are planning on doing the same this year as well, just sent it to Bill if he and Laura can't make it. That way I supporting two worthy causes.
    Thanks,
    Tim

I'm planning on driving my roadster again. If any other hot rodders from the north east wanna meet up and make the run down to lloyd-fest together, drop me a line!

  4. Randy, Very cool! We are looking forward to hanging out with you again! We will bring the Teriyaki beef jerky!!! :D:eek:

It is the plan. But like I told Randy it depends on my work situation. He may have to pick me up at the Morgantown airport. How cool is that gonna be to cruise in his Roadster to Lloydfest. I got to figure out dry sleeping arrangement tho. A tarp and a sleeping bag it is.

  10. Depends on your standards, but my shop is a couple of miles from the park lol

  11. Thank you for your generous offer Tim!

We are more confident that we are coming lately, Laura is doing better with a bit of walking now 7 weeks after the surgery, she starts chemo pills today. Another reason she is stoked about coming is her daughter & son-in law are going to come up from Sevierville, Tn for a couple of days to stay in the cabin with us. One of the things that has kept Laura's spirits up is that fact that they made her a Grandma for the 1ST time back in January & this means she gets to see the baby again!

Lloyd.....Yeah she likes you LOL However she says it is probably a good idea that we don't live closer. She is afraid you & I would get into too much trouble if we did! LMAO:p:eek::D

    God Bless
    Bill

Great news about Laura but still hit Lloyd up for the T shirt offer. That way you can have a spare if you spill BBQ sauce on it.

When we left Virginia on 31 March, Mark's place was on the itinerary. Just didn't know exactly when we would be in his area. Lloyd fest was not on itinerary because we have a family reunion in October in Florida. And then the dates changed for Lloyd fest. I said great, now I won't have to miss it.
Going to bed last night was like being a kid and going to bed Christmas Eve. I was so looking forward to meeting Mark and seeing his collection. I am not an early riser, but I was up early this morning. It was a hour drive from the Camp Ground to Mark's.
If you ever get the chance, it is well worth stopping by Mark's. He is a great host and person. My wife originally was going to stay and let me go alone, but I told her she would want to see his place. She's glad she went. I tried to talk him into going to Lloyd fest. I won't have my car there but still looking forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully some new guys. See you guys soon.

  21. Not cool enough for him to show up, he's better than all of us man, the guy doesn't even buy food!! But one day, when Lloydfest is big and awesome, he'll wanna come, and we won't let him in :D:p:cool:
