Yeah we stayed at the roach... I mean Morris hotel and there was alot of shady guys that live there. I got up a whole bunch of times to check on my car and I never saw anyone near my olds or your coup man. That sucks hard and on top of it you stayed at that shitty joint.

happened to a friend. busted a hose on his 67 chevelle. friend gave him a ride to the store and when he gets back covers are gone.someone stoped on the side of the road opened his hood and took um.

 

You should see what happens to 4 wheel drive rigs that get stuck out on a trial overnight. If you're vehicle gets stripped your lucky, when it's flipped over and torched you're really screwed. Talk about people in a "hobby/lifestyle" not looking out for each other.

I have to admit though, your optimistic outlook is inspiring.

Wouldn't you ,just once,like to catch someone in the act! If I ever caught a guy,i'd FUCK'M UP just for the princible of it.Even if it wasn't my car!!! Hate thieves. I used to be in a vintage VW club and I can't tell you how many headlights,tailights,mirrors,hubcaps,bumpers,etc. me and my buddies got stolen off our cars.

I find it really inspiring that a guy and his girl can 1.stay at a nasty motel and 2.get there valve covers stolen and still look past that stuff and say they had a great time.

I was kinda worried he was gonna be pissed at me for hyping this event then him have a crappy time. But nope, he had a smile on all weekend. And didnt let it ruin the fun.

I tell you what theres too many people getting away with shit like this thats why it happens so much.
If more assholes had their windows blown out there would be less of it.
This might give us all a wakeup call to somehow lock our stuff down or mark it so we can identify it.
We have had a rash of petty theft here. We had three landscaping lights stolen about two weeks ago. We had about $10 in them, but some dipshit is willing to risk his life for them.
