1931 all steel Ford 5 window coupe. Roadster Shop $10,000 ch***is, spec ordered new '32 boxed frame. 5" Z frame front, 10" Z frame rear. 5 1'2" Chop. 4"Channel. Front axle-Super Bell- 4" drop. 1951 Flathead 8BA, 3.9L 239 ci. Hasting rings, Edge pistons, Schneider cam, Johnson light weight lifters. S-10 5-speed rear end. Aluminum radiator. Flaming River Vega steering box. Front disc brakes. Superbell front axle with 4" drop. Home built by Steve Dively out of Altoona PA. I purchased the car from Steve in 2014. I've had a drop link rear suspension added as well as the 5-speed rebuilt 5 years ago. The car is unique. The checkerboard paint was all hand done. The car has won two Good Guys awards, for Chopped and Dropped and Period Correct. Car has a full cage. Windshield is gl***. All the rest of the windows are plexigl***. Steel roof welded in from '59 Mercedes. Has fins from a '59 Mercedes welded in front of the rear wheels. Steve was a 5'2" guy and I'm a 6'3" guy. Thankfully the bottom seat pulls right out, and I sit on the floor and put the seat in the trunk. The issues: 1. Battery cut off required after use. Likely the old horn is drawing voltage. Not an issue for me, I use the battery kill whenever parked. 2. Float gas gauge inop. Worked 2 years ago, but not currently. 3. Tachometer runs on roof mounted gauge, not from the dash cluster. The car is a blast to drive it handles curves like an old sports car. I owned a '30 shop-built highboy and never drove it. I always took the chopped/channeled '31 instead. Not interested in trades, thanks. Car is still available if listing is up.
