1956 Chevy built by lil John ****era & Dennis rollain of R&B automotive engineering, Kenosha Wisconsin. The car was built in 1964 and finished in 1966. It had disappeared in the early 80s and was recently found in 2018. This will be a fun car to finish as it's a roller right now, and needs a lot of little things completed. Originally running a Hilborn injected sbc & hemi 4 speed. There's multiple folders of original paper work, photos, receipts, time slips, ect ect. The car will be lettered back to how it originally was shortly. More to come..

  4. Bet those gauges on the right side of the dash were fun to read banging gears down the strip

It originally didn’t have any gauges there.

As if your Model A wasn’t enough already, now you’re just showing off Brent.
Seriously though, that’s a great pair of ‘60’s race cars.

You are one lucky man . John lived one of the most incredible lives in hot rod history. To p*** him off as just "That billet guy" is a big mistake. So many layers to that onion. Last of the " little guys" at Indy 500 . The man could do it all. Anyone wanting to know about Hot Rod History would do well to study the man. That car is Pedigree.

Here’s a photo of the engine. I have sourced a few parts, but am still looking for a 2 1/16 Hilborn injection set up if anyone has one in good condition.

Is that a Torsion Bar suspension in front? Don't see any spring's.

Here’s a few pieces I’ve collected so far. Magnesium m/t timing cover- correct nos stellings breathers, if you look at the engine photo I’m 90% sure that’s what they are but hard to tell for sure. Also m/t Valve covers with no circles, breathers cast or drilled. 552C3253-FDEA-48BD-B701-9AEC2ECBCC97.jpeg IMG_5658.jpeg IMG_5659.jpeg

I know. the m/t is way cooler though and matches the valve covers.
