  1. IMG_2291.jpeg IMG_2292.jpeg View attachment 6009230 View attachment 6009230 Picked up this yesterday in Calgary. 401 Nailhead with dual quads, Tremec 5 speed and a Winters quick change. Originally had cowl steering which has been removed. PO was in the process of installing Vega cross steer. I like the cowl steering even though there is a ton of negativity towards it but the Rolling Bones seem to make it work. Few things to tidy up but builder has got a lot of things ticking off the boxes. Aiming for Deuce Days 2025 in Victoria BC View attachment 6009227

@deucepickup32 what bellhousing is used between the 401 nailhead and the T-5? I've got a 401 and T-5 in my 32-5 window and am using 2 bellhousings, an Offy Nailhead to early Ford then an MEC early Ford to T-5.
Nice Vicky with a great running gear set-up. Very envious as that's another body style that we never got here in Australia.

  9. I am not sure what the po used and it’s not a T5, it’s a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed.

She's a cutie. You are gonna love the Nailhead with a 5 gear behind it.

  11. It’s in the garage and after lots of measurements and advice, going to continue with the cross steering the po started. Also swapping out the 5” drop Magnum axle and unknown split bones for the Okie Joe 32 axle, later dropped spindles and 32 split bones that came with the car.

  16. And to add some more bling, RockyMtnWay sold me his 3 window dash. I liked the dash that was in it but I am a huge fan of 3 windows and this is as close as I will ever get to one.

  17. Update on the Vicky. Jeremy Mang @ Victory Rod and Custom on Vancouver Island fit the car in for some modifications. The po had removed the cowl steering and was in the process of cross steering when he sold it to me. So far the front cross member has been replaced as it was an original Model A, should sit lower. The CE 5” axle was replaced with an original 32 that was dropped by Okie Joe along with original 37-41 spindles. The split bones were replaced with original 32’s as well. The tie rod, pan hard bar and wish bone ends were replaced with original style 32 parts sourced from Roadster Supply. I really am not a fan of generic bling so the stainless heim joints did not fit the look I wanted. The rear spring also needs to be addressed as it’s not sitting properly in the cross member.
The Lime Works column will be supported by an original 32 column drop.
Anxiously awaiting the 3 window dash fit which will require shortening the width by approximately 1 to 1 1/2” plus determine how to mount it.
Looking positive for Deuce Days next July in Victoria BC and realistically should have several miles on it before then. IMG_8508.jpeg IMG_8507.jpeg IMG_8509.jpeg

  20. Nailhead is in and we are back on the ground. Really like the longer wishbones and the Roadster Supply original style 1932 Ford tie rod ends. IMG_8517.jpeg IMG_8515.jpeg IMG_8518.jpeg

Isn’t that the same guy that was working on that wicked chopped/channelled/sectioned 1932 2-door? The one with the Hemi?

I love it! I'm a little bit jealous. If I would have kept my blue 32 Vicky, I would have most definitely put a nailhead in it and swapped out the 4 bar for split wishbones.

  25. New reworked spring is back in. May need to add some spacers if it settles IMG_3338.jpeg

  26. Getting prepped for the 34 Buick instrument panel. Shame to cut up the Brookville 3 window dash but this was in the way. The cut out will be for sale shortly. IMG_3342.jpeg

  28. Slightly better pic IMG_3344.jpeg

  29. Steering is near complete. Box had to be relocated as it was under the motor mount which was impossible to adjust if needed and clearance for the collector.

  30. Firewall is getting work where it was cut for the column install by po.
