When straight line acceleration bores me , this one was built for both left and right DSCF0071.JPG turns.

I like the 66 Fairlane. I think Ford only built around 50 of them? The real excitement starts at the end of the car show when the late model Mustangs disperse on the streets.

The owner could have just replaced the 200-6 with a V8 but considered and alternative..runs on E-85 and so doesn’t seem to need an intercooler. IMG_6631.jpeg

As delivered. I like the side exhaust and the plain steel wheels and Goodyear blue dots.

  11. Heres one i pulled out of a shed here in March 1984 . Well it was white . It had a 6 cylinder , 4 wheel studs and matching numbers with registration. At the time it was only 20 years old . Must have had a few careless owners.
The shed being a pig shed  did,nt help either . Smelly.

Just wanna say the '69 R code air cleaner with the built in hood scoop was one of the coolest shakers to ever stick out of a hood. Chevy had the cold air package on the Z, but this was just badass!

My older sister when she was in high schools boyfriend had a ice blue dual quad 4 spd 67 Fare lane, it was nasty. Had magnum 500s on it, he used to run it at New England Dragway in NH. Oh to have it today! Would be fun! Great thread by the way !:)

From 2018 at the All Ford show at Knotts. 50th anniversary of the Cobra-Jet Mustang. Got to meet Al Joniec and say a couple words.
