ESTRANGED DRAGS AT TOUTLE WASHINGTON 2024

On 8/17/2024 (Saturday)
My good friend John Harwood and I, attended the "Estranged Drags" and swap-meet, at the "TMP" Toutle Motorsports Park, formerly known as Riverdell race track.

It was our first time there, and I must say, this wont be the last time, the place is very unique, and its just plain cool!
I decided to post all of these photo's that I took, on this particular forum, so that I didn't have to hold back or try to blur out certain wheels, that the wheel police are on the look out for.

I also got to meet @Marty Strode and some other cool fellow HAMBERS as well.

One of the elements of this gathering, was the fact that it was very relaxed, and very open, on a variety of levels, and it was local, as far as being not that far of a drive, from Seattle.

So sit back and enjoy, what caught my eye, fair warning, this took a lot of time to crop and to edit the photo's, but it was well worth the time I had invested in it.

Great shots Dennis, thanks for posting them. I’d love to hear that old Ranger running. Been a lon* time since I’ve seen anything that early at an air show.

Treasures bought, at the cool little swap-meet section, at the Estranged Drag's.
The twin chrome units are cool air intakes, for a marine engine. The adjustable blue light with pilot blue jewel is very unique!

I totally agree about this thread being moved to the main board, but as stated, I didn't want to have spend any time on blurring out wheels that could get the thread deleted, I try my best to not rile up the Mods over the wheels issues.
So hey @Moriarity, and @Ryan give this thread a look, and see if it meets your keen eye's and scrutiny.
If it does, then by all means please move it to the main board.
I did my best to post good composition and pick cars and trucks that I felt would be appreciated by the H.A.M.B. Universe!

Hi Dennis,
It was nice meeting you at the Riverdale/Toutle Drags. I was the guy sitting in the stands with my buddy and we chatted a bit about your neighborhood (Fremont) and some of the other locations you visited (Famosa) and how they compared to Riverdale. This was also my first visit and it definitely won't be my last. It was loud, smelly (In a good way!) and we had a great time. Hope to see you again next year.

Hey Tony, very nice to meet you and your friend when we were all down there at the very cool, dynamic TMP, ( toutle motorsports park ).
Its like a small miniature version of "FAMOSO" down at Bakersfield, except, the scenery is so much more appealing.



I really liked and appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, of TMP.
Indeed, this wont be my last trip to TMP.
Since you are a local here, and if you are ever in the neighborhood of the celebrated cool neighborhood of (FRELARD) the area between Ballard and Fremont, by all means drop by our cool old hippy shack at
611 N.W. 44TH Street, Seattle Washington, 98107.
Here is my information as well.




You can call or text me if you are dropping by, and if the blue truck is out front, and my white truck is in the driveway, there is a loud bell that you can ring located next to the "BIZMO" license plate on our decorated, Cessna T-50 BOBCAT fuselage in our front yard, I assure you, we will hear it, and be alerted to your presence!

Dennis is that light blue or violet/purple? If it’s purple then it may have come from a hearse. Purple lights are used on some hearses to this day.
