We had intermittent showers all weekend, which hurt attendance, but didn't dampen anyone's spirts or water down the quality of the cars at the Gilmore Car Museum. Many thanks to all my pals in the Relix Car Club, it was a great weekend! Here are a few photos I snapped over the weekend...
This one. Super clean car, built by "Salt Works Fabrication" in Sarasota. Y block, multi-carbs, just stunning.
Was a good time but with the weather it was not too good of a turn out. Actually more cars there than I expected.
I will admit that the roadster didn't like setting out in the rain, even though it has a hood top and tonneau cover. The cover doesn't cover the defroster vents on the cowl behind the windshield, rainwater ran down them, into the heater box, then out on the floor and soaked the carpet. The engine seems to have a misfire now, I suspect moisture in the distributor cap. I was fun, but I shoulda left that one at home.
