This is a cool old truck with some *****in old lacquer paint patina that i found and wanted to leave it as is because i thought it looked pretty cool. Decided to do it up in the 70's muscle truck aesthetic, lowered just right, on fresh set of period Cragar SS Wheels. This is a California truck with very little rust; the rust that was there (which is common in certain places on all of these) was repaired with hand fabricated patch panels and tig welded and metal finished into place, then the paint was blended back into the patina.

Engine is a fully rebuilt 327 backed by a TH350 trans, brand new driveshaft, and a rebuilt 10 bolt rear end. All under-hood accessories have also been replaced; one wire alternator, water pump, power steering pump, fuel pump, double pumper Holley carburetor, master cylinder and brake booster and a brand new interstate battery. Also has a brand new gas tank, with a rebuilt sending unit.

Front end was clipped with a donor car that appears to have been a early 70's a-body Chevy; power disc brakes, power steering, tilt column....the front end graft was done very cleanly, and it also has a mild c-notch in the rear frame to accommodate the stance without affecting room in the bed.

Interior was all freshened, with a reupholstered bench, new rubber mat, new headliner and headliner trim gasket, all new dash chrome components, new ignition switch , headlight switch, all new upgraded wiring harness from front to back, and a completely restored gauge cluster. The later model mid 70’s Chevy truck steering wheel is in almost perfect condition. Brand new custom wood bed that has been built to easily be removed for access to the entire back portion of the truck.

It’s a sweet truck, ready to drive wherever you want. It’s a fresh resto, so it will need some shaking down, but everything is ready to go, and you can finish up what little still needs to be done to suit your taste.
