I am looking for a gl*** person to install gl*** in a 37 Chevy coupe….. It is all new flat gl*** and new steel rubber gaskets. New door gl*** tracks. I am in the Waco area but will travel to DFW or Austin area if I can make an appointment to get it done in a day…..can leave car if absolutely necessary. Can text me with info. Thank you!-Dogger 8one7-296-951one
I know you said you want it professionally installed. However (on my 40), I found you can do it yourself if you take your time and have patience. Just for the heck of it check on-line for DIY videos. Keep in mind gl*** date codes and tint as well as laminated safety gl***.
If you do decide to do it yourself, do not lube the rubber gasket with WD 40 when you install the gl*** in it. Only use window cleaner per the guy who cut the gl*** for my '39 p/u.
I just did my '40 Plymouth a couple months ago. Nice to have a helper when doing the job. Lube with soapy water, pretty easy work.
This is the local guy I've used. He ships all over. IIRC @krylon32 uses them. Run by a real hot rodder. Street Rod Gl*** – Cl***ic Auto Gl***, Rubber, & Power Windows tel:8888761116
