I bought a 63 Falcon a couple of years ago and it had a disc brake swap on it already. I ***umed it was Granada and I'm ready to replace the brakes on it. After about an hour trying to find any pictures or cross reference anything online, I'm not entirely sure as what I have. It looks like an aftermarket caliber adapter maybe. Can anyone help ID these brakes for me?? The one in the picture has "RIGHT" casted into it but it was on the left and that put the bleeder valve upside down if this helps. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1irGJe5DjVb2BWoNOdVDHxbIiDRAhPWIV?usp=sharing
so folks can see your images without having to click the link... and it helps to resize them to a smaller size, perhaps 1000-2000 pixels on the long side. looks like it might be a 80s? GM front wheel drive caliper?
That is unbelievable!! I knew someone on here would know just by looking. Thank you so much!! Any idea if that is a popular swap? Would I be better off going with something a little different?
I wanted to be able to upload the best quality so anyone can zoom in without being pixelated. I'll upload direct to the site next time.
Looks like this kit https://www.scarebird.com/shop/fal-...ang-mercury-comet-4-lug-front-disc-3018#attr= Found from this thread https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/falcon-front-suspension-strength.1320361/ "Infinity G20 front rotors with 1990 Chevrolet Celebrity calipers" Sure looks like those in Jim's pics too. I'm ***uming that these are the factory spindles? Everything that I have looks like it is the kit that AccurateMike posted. Again thanks for all your help. Dante
Scarebird was pretty popular with the Falcon guys for brake kits. They’ve been gone for a while though.
