I swore I was done buyin **** after I spent 3 days trying to get things put away after the big auction. Well that idea was shot down today.

Fatabone came and got me and we headed to Southern MD to a place we went last year. I thought the guy had some 34 quarters but I was wrong.

Jr ended up with a set of 40 Ford rims with Goodyear tires on them and a new Glider. Big deal a Glider!!?? He's pretty infamous for his glider at Detroit and the HAMB drags. He was sayin he wants to start getting signatures on the new one.

I ended up buying the remains of a 35/36 Cabrio. I got the doors and the back end. I'm guessing I'll need a closed car cowl to make the thing complete. I couldn't p*** it up for $500.

I also got a 35 rear complete with the bones. I did need that for the 34.

I'm done buyin **** for a while now. I need to buy a big building next!!

ya, you do have a sickness. you need to stay away from Jr and his big splinter van. it holds to much ****. if you went in a small car, you could only bring home stuff that fits in the trunk or a suitcase

Gliders rule to hell with those uncomfortable little fold out seats. Inkorect sat comfortably in the glider and got wasted at the drags and Lil Mike p***ed out in a fold up seat and looked miserable. Hell I have three gliders so my window licking friends can enjoy the ride to the junkyard!

Clark wasn't going to buy anything till he saw I was filling the truck. He is a sick sick man!

I'm ***uming it's because I had planted myself on it for an entire night, right?

I love the old glider, what is it's fate now?

    :D ;)
I have absolutely no room to talk. At least you finish your projects.
I know a guy that has some '36 stuff if you've got anything interesting to trade. This guy I know REALLY likes 34s...

Joyo...I like my 34 more than the 35/35! Not sure when I'll get to this project. I just couldn't p*** it up. The 34 will be soon.....I hope!

When are the junkahaulic meetings?? And don't tell me they hold them at a junkyard :)

We need to start an online Junkaholics meeting....but I fear it would just turn into a swap meet. I'm afraid there is no cure for this disease...I really start to get worried about you when you get angry and say things like
    "But It's just one part"
    "I can quit any time"

A bench like seat that sits in its own stand and glides back and forth like a swing, usually made of metal with cool artdeco styling. Lots of folks had them on their front porches back in the day. I have a plain old wooden one at the bonfire pit in my backyard.

I was thinking the no engine airplane and was confused when you were saying, "he bought a glider... yeah.. no big deal, right?" Uh... buying an airplane would be a pretty big deal to me.....

'round these parts, it's called a porch swing or a bench swing.

Google must be one of them under-cover confederate companies too 'cause when I typed in "glider" in google images I got the airplane, too.

  26. Try "Glider" and "Porch"
