Folks Of Interest Alex Xydias,.. Has crossed the finish line at 102

Alex Xydias crossed the finish line early this morning. Alex was the founder of the original SO-CAL speed shop, And later brought it back to life with the late Pete Chaporus... He was a WWII Vet, and Land Speed Racing pioneer. He was dedicated to Hot Rodding,... Alex was 102 years old....

So long Alex,.... God Speed.

A gentleman that was man of vision and a legion is his own time, his accomplishments were many and the hot rod world has lost another icon.

A true Ambassador of Hot Rodding sense its infancy

 

That's how you live a full life for sure..Im gonna live to 102 ...

 

While it's sad to hear he's gone, the guy is a legend and 102 is a ripe old age. Rest in Peace but also, well done.
