Might look even better with 1/4 windows behind the doors.

My Grandpa had his 66 Chevy Station Wagon back cut off up to the back of the front doors bcuz it was full of Michigan Wire Worms, he put a plywood flat bed with 2X4 rails, with plywood for a back and cut out for a small barn window, Grandpa drove it until the frame rusted through just like the back of the Station Wagon had, I was 12 years old at the time he owed that 66 Chevy Station Wagon. Sorry No Pictures, I was only 12 years old, but thought it was sooo cooolll...

This is a rare Ranchero roadster with an Earl Schibe paint job. I cut the top of with a hack saw 40 years ago. Roll bar had tabs so the the doors were aligned

Those mid 60 Chevrolets sure turn out nice, some of the Pontiacs also. That 55 Safari is perfect. I hate to say it but way back in the beginning of this there’s two pics of a rendering of a Rambler. Looks like the doors were stretched a bit. It just flows together so we’ll.

It would be mighty nice of you to copy and paste those Rambler pictures.

  22. C-119 "Flying Boxcar" behind the '59 Caddy. They were stationed at Richards-Gebaur AFB near my home in the '60s and when they flew over, those big radial engines not only roared, the generators on those engines would cause serious interference with my grandfather's television reception as they flew over the house. He'd cuss them every time.

i wonder if it might have been ignition causing that static

  27. I'd never thought of that. Could have been both. I just know that homemade wind turbine generator experimenters of the '60s - 80's seem to seek out the generators.
