Maybe too soon, but I was curious as to any coverage. You Tube showed a lot of OT, big wheeled, RR stuff, even though it is a pre-48 show. Here’s a You Tube screen shot of the jewel of the swap meet. Unfortunately, the guy videoing just blew past it. Not cheap, I’m sure.
That booth had lots of cool rare parts , and cheap Colombia rear end, NOS 39-40 fenders, lots of convertible parts and they posted a 1940 ford conv with a McCulloch super charger for $24,000, I didn't price the Ardun , I was busy buying and looking thru all the other parts they had in boxes later kb
1939-40 conv door moldings ( 2 sets) and windshield moldings , I needed for my convertible sedan. lots of 40 dash parts, gauges, glove box doors, clocks, 39 grill bars other booths,36 ford dashes , 39 patch panels, steel tear drop fender skirts, 1937 chevy rear fenders, lots of small parts I thought the vendor count was down , from past years , plus it was hot not much model A parts , or pre 39 stuff , If I didn't have a deal going on another 39 , I would have looked into the 40 conv with the super charger later kb
Pictures, who takes pictures. That means getting up and walking around. Plus you have to try and get a good shot without people in the way. Having a good camera or phone. That's to much work. Most shows I see people sitting with their cars and b.s.ing with friends.
They were from the St louis' area , sell off, their father's stuff that passed, there was a lot of 39-40 conv stuff, top bows, rumble lid , dashes, pedals, brakes, later kb
This T was a piece of work. Front Buick drums were stationary with all disc brake mechanicals hidden inside. It even had stock backing plates.
wiredSpyder nice photos I drove the yellow 41 convert Saturday needed more room in the trunk than would fit in the 40 sedan.I also studied the little T looked at it several times
I drove my black 40 convert up from Clarksville. Always a good show and lots of traditional stuff in amongst the 80,s christmas tree refugees
