    Hello,

Art is in the eye of the beholder. However it is drawn, what comes out on paper, erasures, crooked lines and all, still pushes the design forward to a custom car of sorts. Thoughts, as related to a “Haiku” are a little tricky. Tricky in the sense that one has rules for a “Haiku” format. (5-7-5) That sounds like an old clothing store for women, 5-7-9 shops that almost every shopping center and mall in America had at one time or another.

    I really like hot rods,

I like to draw them daily

    Hot rod art is cool…

My wife was writing Haiku in college and I always saw them on her class notes scribbling… They were interesting ways to put down thoughts and anyone who reads them would just think them as poetry for an English Class. YRMV

Haiku is a Japanese verse form that consists of three lines with 17 syllables in total:
    • Line 1: 5 syllables SOMETIMES,HOT RODS ARE NICE
    • Line 2: 7 syllables OTHER TIMES THEY ARE NOT SO NICE
    • Line 3: 5 syllables BUILD ONE ON YOUR OWN

    Hello,

Haiku is an unusual form of writing. It has rhythm and function. Following the rules laid out for it has its rewards. We learned about various forms of writing in high school, but, in the college english classes, expanded on the style a little more. My wife had skills in this style of writing a short form of poetry for her assignments. Reading those on a sunny day always made my involvement challenging to say the least. She had the skills and it showed in the writings.

    Nice: upload_2025-1-11_3-25-39.png

    Not so nice: upload_2025-1-11_3-26-13.png

Even though these hot rods are posted as examples, the lowered coupe has nice scallops… but, not for long distance driving and daily comfort…YRMV
