Hot Rods Hangin' those rear tires

Not that you would need to but trying to categorize this cool scooter is tough.

 

But then again a class legal NHRA S/R wouldn't be too far off, maybe add a hood like this.

Seems like it's illegal in most states but not really enforced in many.

@19Fordy , respectfully, this this thread is dedicated to the hot rods with tires that fenders couldn't contain.

 

I'll not post a picture of my car on the lift with the rear tire hangin down.

 

I put some new wheels a tires on my J.

 

Well this used to legal down here once, but no more.

And then it wasnt. So it transformed into this, out of necessity really.

 

If I had only known better!

 

Slow progress, but before and after some cheap paint to protect through the winter a few years back. Dont mind the rear wheels from my 69Plymouth-just for mockup. I've never heard of hanging rear tire, but I do appreciate it when someone applies the correct amount of tuck or poke to suit the build.
