I have an old Edelbrock C-3B dual plane intake, had it on most of the cars I've owned. Bought it in Burlington, Vt. in 1966 at the J.C. Penneys Auto store. In that era, most of the Pennys stores, had an automotive department very much like Sears of today. It's hard to fine an old intake that's worth a shit that has an oil filler tube in it, at least for a sbc.

Mine's gotta be my full set of magnisium Halibrand big n littles, like Bass's only unpolished. My uncle bought them used in 59. The front are spindle mount. My second are my 15 x 3.5 slot mags I got from Shirley Muldowney. And my 3rd fav has got to be a Tach from a 65 A.C. Cobra that goes to 9 grand.

It would have been a Racefab built SBC, but i didn't win the sumbitch. [IMG] So, i would say it is the Navarro 2X2 "race model" intake on my flathead.

Hey ctfuzz, are you gonna use that?

  7. It would have to be my Enderle injection that is going on the BFD... I bought it off e-bay... got it... and then realized it was NOS!! Never been used! Never even had a bolt tightened down on it!
The cast aluminum stacks are getting kinda rare...

This just came in the mail this week, it is a 5 main crank girdle for a Banger, Kong Jackson cast it and did 75% of the machining on it. Now I need to go on a quest for a crank to fit project "Fat Bottom Banger", I will look at a Buda crank at a farm junkyard next week, a Hercules engine crank is also a close fit I have been told.

  10. That's a toss-up. The first is my new Fentons for my 57 halfton (unashamed SPAM for Vaphead - thanks Eric), secondly is a set of Fenton slots 15 x 3 1/2, and 15 x 10 that I'm saving for either a T or race car. Lastly, is the motor in my 56 Poncho. Balanced and blueprinted 350 w/BDS 6-71. Too many snotty kids around here whose daddys buy them new mustangs.... [IMG]

My ZZ430 SBC. Number # 430 .....the last one made by GM. [IMG]

General Motors only made 430 of them........430 Horsepower and 430 pounds of torque. All came with a roller camshaft, roller rocker arms, aluminum heads, aluminum intake (750 Holley too), aluminum waterpump and 4 bolt main block.

My favorite go-fast treasure is an original 1948 Kurtis Kraft midget grille -- never been on a car, not even final polished at this point. I've been massaging it for several years, a little bit at a time. Great therapy, and it will eventually find its way onto some future build.

My favorite would be the Thickstun PM7 intake on my flathead...It;s an original one. My two 97's run second. Zephyr gears (?) might be on that list

  17. Everything I ever owned was slow so I don't have much but this will make its way onto my RPU soon.

    Offenhauser 2 97's to a SBC.

  22. <font color="purple"> This would have to be it!
When I put the speed equipment stickers on it I was told that it would go faster, honest!
Just figurin' how to add the 6" exhaust tips to it... after all, it's the only US iron I have. [IMG] Still need a bigger dog with a nodding head to put in the rear parcel tray!

  23. My "old lady"! You ever see one of those fat fucking greasy biker scumbag motherfucker's with a really hot chick on the back? Then she does what ever he "tells" her to do? That's us! 'Course she don't have any of that shit when we get home and puts me in my place! I love it, first woman that I haven't got bored within 6 months. Sneakin' up on 7 years now and we finally got married this past summer. Honeymoon was over before the wedding and things haven't changed like they did in my first marriage. Now that was another story [IMG]...best piece of speed equipment I got RID OF!

Here's a pic of the blower setup that was given to me by the guy who fabbed the manifold and the whole setup. Its pictured when it was on his 39 chev roadster. He died 12 months ago, geez I miss him.

Second fav piece - a tie b/w my NOS Sun Tacho and my 3 carb setup for the six.

I have a few ones that I really like, my homemade Nailhead 6 carb cross ram with 6 mono-jet 1 bbl carbs, Eddy Meyer 60 Horse flathead 2 carb intake with 97's Offy heads and water manifolds out of a vintage hydro, Nicson 3 fin aluminum valve cover for 235 Chev with Nicson Los Angeles logo. These are a few special ones.
