Here's an H-78 14 tire on a big ol Starliner. Not a small car or too small a tire really.

Here's a 7.50-17 for a Packard 12:eek: Note that the tire is taller than the whole damn car! Well at least taller than the front fender. Wow, huh?

Mounting tires on these vintage wheels ain't exactly something you throw on the tire machine at Belle Tire. I imagine how hearty the individuals were that had to do this shit on the side of the road. Anyways, I thought it was fun stuff when I leaned the wire wheel against the bumper of the Ford, figured I'd share. Enjoy...

15 inch wheels on the Pontiac make it look like a NASCAR racer vs. the original 14s it came stock. Way cooler to me 20240721_170018.jpg

Yup, like saying the sun is brighter at high noon. Funny thing, anything smaller would look fucky on the Packard. PACKARD_.jpg

I see these things so much their size escapes me sometimes. I had to be pretty far away to get it all in frame.

P.S., quick edit, this was a photoshop test pic to see what body color wheels would be like. It'll wear those apple greens for while. Yuk. Body color is best I think. I told my friend that she has all class and beauty of Sophia Loren, and doesn't need to dress like Jayne Mansfield.

Ever talk to the couple that rode in the back seat of that Packard after a week long trip?

I've heard wives less than pleased with the top basically stealing any normal circulation back there. The earlier ones had the drop down back window. Vision is also quite limited for the driver and front seat passengers, fairly impossible for rear seat occupants.
