    Hey Guys,

I've used the search function and couldn't find anything related to this. Can anyone confirm if this is a door switch for the dome light? It is spring loaded... Was it factory and if so does anyone re-pop these? Driver side has the hole but the "switch" is gone. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

  2. There was no factory door switch for the dome light on the Coupe. The on off switch was at the dome light.

Thanks @coupeHEAD do you have any idea what I circled could be for? I'm in the process of filling all unnecessary holes prior to paint. If this was not a factory piece I'll remove it and fill the holes.

    Thanks!!

I would agree, probably a later install. This is a stock 30 cowl post:

  6. These Fords weren’t that far advanced. As others have said if it is in fact a dome light switch somebody must have added it years later.
